This piece began as an experiment. No story. No deep concept. Just a quiet question: Can I create something minimal, textured, and intentional — and still have it feel like mine?
I wasn’t trying to impress anyone. I just wanted to try. To see what would happen if I stripped everything down — no complex forms, no colors fighting for attention — just one material, one mood, one idea: presence.
I chose copper for its warmth. Its quiet glow. It reminds me of something aged, but still alive. Strong, but soft. Like something that doesn’t rush to be seen, but is hard to ignore when you notice it.
As I worked, it felt… peaceful. No pressure to explain. Just a rhythm between my hands and the surface. I began to realize — maybe I don’t always need a big story to stand behind. Maybe the work itself is enough.
This piece gave me that assurance. It’s simple, but not empty. Subtle, but grounded. It holds space, quietly — just like I want my art to.
This is where I proved that to myself. This is my Proof of Form.
